Water Truck Supervisor
Successful candidate should have experience with working with people under stressful conditions. Two to three years of experience of progressively being able to take on harder challenges that involve remaining calm and being able to calm others while sorting out problems that arise. They should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment with others while multitasking several schedules and priorities at once.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs
- Relaying information such as work orders or other messages to and from work crews, field supervisors or office personnel
- Using telephones, messaging apps or text messages to contact employees
- Speak with customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment
- Preparing daily work such as schedules or rosters
- Preparing work orders in for drivers to complete, entering and reconciling tickets in company and customer systems
- Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, completed job tickets, and company records
- Other duties as assigned
Experience Requirements
- CDL Class A or B with Tanker endorsement, Water hauling background preferred
- Ability to work Sunday and a varying schedule
- Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- Attention to detail and accuracy, Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Active listener with excellent communication skills
- Sound judgment and critical thinking
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED
